New Salty Dog Rescue Shelter in Valle De Banderas Bahia De Banderas Nay.
Come along on this journey with us as we transform this land into a sanctuary for our rescue dogs!!
As a lot of you are already aware we have had issues with our neighbor at Jarretederas Puppyland and it had a suspended activities sign hung across the front door (August 2025). But, just before that happened we had finally purchased the land we intend to move all the Salty Dog rescue dogs to. The land is in Valle de Banderas area and is 1 hectare, 10,000 sq metres where we will start again from scratch building kennels for the dogs. This property will give the dogs much larger kennels as well as lots of outdoor space to run, play and enjoy the property. They are giving us two months to move. Sandra has already started getting CFE for power at the new land and we will need a well dug and installation of the biodigester we will use for sewer and the dog poop from the kennels. You can see the exact specifications of the material we will be using and the approximate cost of the project below.

An update for you - Sept. 5, 2025
We have a trailer on the land. The CFE post is done and ready for hook up and the container arrived today to keep the materials and tools in.

The rescue shelter is taking shape little by little, and soon it will be a beautiful, central haven where all our dogs can come together with more space to run, play, and just be dogs.
