Salty Dog Rescue Brigade is a volunteer‑driven, non‑profit dog rescue organization based in Nayarit, Mexico. Our mission is to give abandoned, unwanted, and surrendered dogs a second chance at life through rescue, rehabilitation, and re‑homing.

Most of our pups now live at the Salty Dog Rescue Ranch in San Juan de Abajo, where seven dedicated staff members provide daily care, feeding, and love. We also have dogs thriving in foster homes, learning what it means to be part of a family.

Our incredible volunteers are the backbone of our work — they transport dogs to vet appointments, take them for walks, assist at spay/neuter clinics, help fundraise, offer sleepovers, and so much more. Without them, none of this would be possible.

As a non‑profit, we rely entirely on donations and fundraising to bring dogs off the streets and out of unsafe conditions, giving them the chance to live healthy, happy lives. We are always in need of foster homes and new volunteers — because every wagging tail deserves a future filled with love.
