Amy - Adoption Pending - Calgary, AB
Approx. D.O.B. April 2025. Amy, Reese and Candy 2 are siblings. They were found in the hill in PV by a kid, abandoned. They were full of fleas/ticks. She is a fun little girl! Likes to play with her toys and also loves to chill in your arms. She is just so precious!
Capone
Approx. D.O.B. July 2022. A woman asked for help. A big dog had attacked Capone, and shook him. He had no big injuries, maybe some pain and some little injuries on the leg but otherwise luckily ok. Capone is good with other dogs. He's a happy, social boy and loves to play and be cuddled. He is an easy dog.
Juanito - Adoption Pending - Qualicum Beach, B.C.
Approx. D.O.B. May 2010. He is a senior! Juanito, was abandoned in the Paraiso Felino shelter in San Juan de Abajo. He is severely malnourished and was found in a bag and covered in cow poop. He is a new rescue so more information to come as we get aquainted with this little fellow!
June
Approx. D.O.B. June 2022. A man found her on the street close to San Vicente. He couldn't keep her, so he asked for our help. She has an old injury in her front leg that has healed, and there isn't anything further that could be done for it. It doesn't affect her in any way. June is quiet and sweet. Well-mannered.
Simon
Approx. D.O.B. April 2019. Simon arrived to us with very bad mange. He is so cute and his skin is doing amazing now. Simon, is just so seet! He will be an easy little guy in a home. Heās very easy to walk with. Not bothered about other dogs that he sees. Fine with other dogs in the home, but I think better with calm dogs. Not with puppies or rambunctious dogs. Does his own thing at home. Goes straight to his bed and chills. Heās just with his foster parent sometimes during the day, and heās already claimed a bed that he uses. He likes affection. Likes being picked up. Ok with baths. He also requires thyroid medication. He is house trained. Zero separation anxiety. Dosent even notice when you leave. Heās still in the same place upon return and fast asleep.
Tiza aka Taina
Approx. D.O.B. June 2022. Some people found her on the street and brought her to the vet. She was pregnant and the vet asked if we could take her in. She had three puppies June 28/25 but one was not alive and the other two passed away shortly after. She is a quiet girl. Aug. 27/25: Update from her foster home: She sleeps in her crate and is happy to see you in the morning. She walks well on a leash but stays close when off leash. Sheās a good dog. She comes when called (most of the time). She seems to be housebroken. Only potty accidents when Iām not paying attention. Iāve been feeding her good food twice a day. She wants to be near her people, but she doesnāt make noise when left alone. Sheās pretty much a perfect pet. She would LOVE a household where she is definitely treated as family!
Valentina - (On Hold) Blind Bay, B.C. area
Approx. D.O.B. November 2024. She was found hit by a car and couldn't walk but she was not incontinent and was moving from the bed to pee/poo. She is doing pool therapy and excelling like mad! She is a trooper! SHE NOW RUNS and plays and is having the time of her life! Turns out the vet said there are no breaks in her leg, it is neurological. The vet showed by pinching her toes with tweezers. No reaction except 1 toe. Same on her arm. No feeling. They recommended the pool therapy. Some electrical stimulation or acupuncture. If it doesn't resolve then the vet recommended amputation. She is tiny! She is very calm and sweet. Loves to cuddle. She doesn't bark and listens when you tell her no. She is house trained and is pee pad trained!
