They describe her as almost perfect — a gentle, affectionate sweetheart who loves to cuddle and is wonderful with kids. Her adorable personality wins people over instantly. Other dogs, however, are still a bit overwhelming for her. The playful puppies at the shelter try to engage her, but their energy scares her, and she’ll bark and run to keep her distance. She isn’t aggressive; she’s simply unsure and still learning how to feel safe around more exuberant dogs. Because she currently lives in an outdoor shelter environment, Vaquita will need some patience and guidance as she adjusts to life inside a home. She’s never had the chance to learn routines or enjoy the comforts of indoor living, but with her sweet nature and eagerness to bond, she’s ready to blossom with the right family.
