June was first spotted wandering near San Vicente, alone but dignified. A kind man stepped in to help, and she began her journey with us being one of our community service dogs and eventually, she came into our care, and we’ve been lucky to know her ever since. Junior didn’t arrive at our rescue in the usual way—he was originally a community service dog, and we were simply helping his owner out. But on the morning of September 30, 2025, fate had other plans. One of our founders spotted him in the street after he’d been hit by a car. Thankfully, they acted fast and got him the care he needed. When his owner chose not to take him back, Junior officially became one of ours—and we couldn’t be more grateful.
