Approx. D.O.B. January 2024. This little guy was found in the garbage. He had been poisoned. He has come a long way in a short time! He is such a sweet guy and likes to play but also likes to lounge around.
Cali
Approx. D.O.B. October 2021. A woman found him in San Jose and cared for him for a week. No one asked for him so she asked us to help. He is a nice boy! He likes to hang out with people and get cuddles.
Cheetos
Approx. D.O.B. March 2024. A woman brought to Puppyland because the landlord killed 3 puppies; and said if she didn't take out Dorita and her puppies he'd kill all of them. Mom is Dorita & sibling is Chester.
Chico
Approx. D.O.B. January 2010 (He is a Senior). Someone found this old guy in a canal in a neighborhood behind Sam's Club. Chico is healthy, he just has some issues because he is old; can't see very well or hear very well. He is a typical old man... calm and and can be grumpy.
Chucky
Approx. D.O.B. July 2014. He is a senior that was found abandoned in the streets of La Mission.
CJ aka Carlos Jr. aka Digby- Available in Calgary, AB
Approx. D.O.B. November 2023. From his foster Mom, "Our little Digby needs his forever home. He has been with us in Calgary since April 9th, since he came from Mexico as a foster from Salty Dog Rescue. Digby (who is listed as āCJā on the Salty Dog Rescue website) is a Pug/Chihuahua X, and is a year and a half old. He is a small dog, smaller than a typical pug, with the colouring and fur type of a pug, and the personality of a chihuahua! He is GREAT with children! What a funny little guy Digby is! He has become waaaay too attached to me as his caregiver (and possibly me to him as well!
). He does need a home that he will be able to have that close bond with his owner without great competition, because he does love to get ALLLLL the lovinā for himself! lol. But he does enjoy other dogs to play chase with, and cuddles up with the other chihuahua that came from the rescue with him. He walks well on a leash, has learned to sit for a treat, and is fairly well housetrained. He needs someone with the patience to let him settle in, because he has become quite anxious when I am away from him. But that is why I am really hoping we can find this sweet boy his forever home sooner, rather than later. Bonding with his owner while he is still young, and adjusting to that home is what this little man truly deserves. He LOVES to cuddle, he is very much a lap dog, and likes to go for car rides with his person. Digby is such an amazing companion dog.

Duquesa is the Mom and she had the 6 puppies on Feb. 14/24. Donato, is one of the puppies that she had. He is adorable, playful & happy dog! So smart, learns quick!

Born July 29, 2024. Goofy's, siblings are Dory, Pearl & Pluto and his mom is Muneca. He is a happy and healthy guy!
Kai - Adoption Pending - Calgary, AB
Approx. D.O.B. September 2021. Kai was rescued close to the shelter from the street. She wa likely in a dog fight and had a big injury on her face. She eats well, loves to cuddle, doesnāt make a peep. Goes pee and poop outside. Her facial wound was treated and she has recovered from it. She is putthing on weight and growing some new fresh skin on her face and is ready to find her home/family. She is an absolutely doll!
Kiwi - Available in the Sylvan Lake, AB area
Approx. D.O.B. September 2024. She was rescued by a woman in San Vicente. She may have had a home but was on the street all the time. She was full of fleas and ticks.

Approx. D.O.B. May 16, 2024. Mom (Monet) had 6 puppies that were approx. 10 days old. One of our founders, had to rescue because the conditions were really bad.

Approx. D.O.B. November 2022. He was found outside Ley grocery store, close to San Jose. He was alone and eating from the garbage when his rescuer found him.

Muneca
Approx. D.O.B. January 2022. She was found on the street July 28, 2024; the next day she had babies (Dory, Goofy, Pearl & Pluto). Happy and social. Her foster says she is good with dogs and children. She good on a lead and travelling in a car. She is also house trained.

Penny - Adoption Pending - Parksville, B.C.
Approx. D.O.B. March 2023. She was rescued close to Alta Vela neighborhood, she was on the street full ticks and fleas and in heat. A woman posted because she saw her out there for many days on the street and no one asked for her. No one claimed her. Looking for a loyal companion whoās small (small-medium) in size but big in personality? Meet Penny, a 2 year old, 15 lb pup with a heart of love and a little bit of sass. Sheās not just a pet, sheās a partner, protector and a cuddle buddy all in one. She loves her walks and is amazing on a leash. She may be a bit too energetic at times for small children but is always up for a game of fetch or tug of war. Very food motivated and hoping to learn a few new tricks and that visitors are friends!

Approx. D.O.B. May 2022. Pipo was rescued with Tofu by a girl who found them in the street. He is timid and therefore can be reactive around other dogs. He is a healthy guy and so so cute!
