Arial
Born around March 2026, Ariel is a bright, snowy‑white pup with a heart as pure as her coat. Her mama, Dove, was rescued in Puerto Vallarta while pregnant, and Arial was one of the lucky five pups born safe and loved. Three siblings have already found homes, while Arial and her sister Mar are now beginning their own journeys with us.
Arial is still just starting her protocols, so she’s not quite ready for adoption yet—but she’s growing, learning, and getting closer every day to the moment she can meet her forever family. With her gentle spirit and puppy sparkle, Ariel is sure to bring joy wherever she goes.
Biscuit
Biscuit’s Journey 🐾
Biscuit was born around April 2023 and found hiding under a car on Matamoros Street in Bucerías, where he had been for days before one of our founders rescued him. This little white‑and‑black pup quickly showed his true colors: social, affectionate, and wonderful with kids. Sadly, Biscuit was living with painful orthopedic issues—a luxating patella (slipping kneecap) combined with a bent femur. His left leg was more severely affected, and his first surgery was complicated by an old fracture and a crushed patella. He was in pain, but he faced it bravely. Biscuit is now healing from that surgery and will need about a month and a half before he can undergo the second operation on his other leg. Even though he isn’t ready for adoption just yet, Biscuit’s spirit shines through. He’s resilient, loving, and on his way to a brighter, pain‑free future. With continued care and support, Biscuit will soon be ready to share his joy with a family who will cherish him. 💙
Burt
Born around December 2025, Burt is part of a very special rescue family. Burt is the brother of March who along with her puppies, Lisa and Maggy and their father, Homero were once found tied to a tree on the road to a ranch after they had killed a chicken. Thankfully, they were saved, brought into rescue, and each one has since been adopted into loving homes. And now it’s Burt's turn. After seeing his sister and her family find safety and happiness in Canada, the people who had him came forward and asked us to help Burt too, so he could have the same chance at a forever home. Burt is a young pup with a gentle spirit, playful energy, and the resilience that runs in his family. His story is just beginning, and we’re excited to help him find the love and security he deserves.
✨ Burt is getting ready to start his journey toward adoption, and we can’t wait to see him thrive in a home of his own.
Caramel
Born around January 2026, Caramel’s journey began alongside Kahlua in a park in Ixtapa. For days, the two little ones wandered together, living under cars and searching for scraps, until a kind neighbor stepped in. With food, care, and compassion, he gave them safety and reached out for help—opening the door to a brighter future. Now safe and thriving, Caramel is healthy and nearly finished with her protocols. She’s a gentle, resilient pup with a heart full of hope, ready to discover what it means to be loved and cherished.
✨ With her sweet spirit and brave beginnings, Caramel is getting for the family who will show her that forever really does mean home. 💛
Darby
🌸 Meet Darby 🌸
Born around February 2026, Darby is a tiny beautiful black pup who’s just starting her journey with us. She was rescued in the San Vicente area, where a kind woman cared for her for a week but couldn’t keep her because of her many cats.
Now safe in rescue, Darby is beginning her protocols and learning what it means to be loved and cared for. She’s a gentle girl with a soft spirit, and we can’t wait to see her blossom as she gets ready for her forever family. 💕
Frodo
Born around October 2025 and weighing just 2.2 kg, Frodo may be tiny, but his spirit is mighty. 💙
His previous owner loved him but couldn’t provide the specialized care he needs, so Frodo and his buddy Mosquito came to us for a fresh start. Frodo is a special needs pup—his back leg is permanently backwards and unusable, so it will need to be removed. Right now, he’s bravely going through medical protocols to prepare for surgery and recovery. Despite his challenges, Frodo is full of heart. He’s gentle, resilient, and already showing us how strong he can be. With the right family, he’ll thrive as a happy, playful companion who proves that love conquers all.
Henry
Born around January 2026, Henry’s start in life was heartbreakingly unfair. He and his brother were abandoned in a deserted lot where construction had stopped, left with no food, no water, and no one to care for them. Tragically, his brother didn’t survive the heat and neglect — but Henry was saved when a rescuer stepped in and asked us for help. Now safe, Henry is beginning his journey toward a brighter future. He’s a young pup with a resilient spirit, good with other dogs, gentle with cats, and absolutely adores people. His sweet nature shines through even as he undergoes his health protocols, proving that love and care can heal even the hardest beginnings.
✨ Henry’s story is just starting, and we can’t wait to watch him grow into the happy, loved companion he was always meant to be. ✨
Johnny
Small, black‑and‑tan, and full of heart — that’s me, Johnny! I spent my early days on the streets of San José with my mama by my side. We were inseparable, always together, always waiting for someone to notice. Kind people fed us and worried about us, but no one stepped forward to change our fate. Finally, an independent rescuer saw our story online and gave us the chance we’d been waiting for — safety, care, and hope. Now I’m learning what it means to be loved, with a cozy bed instead of pavement and gentle hands instead of uncertainty. I may be small, but my spirit is big, and I’m ready to share it with the world.
Johnny is proof that even the tiniest pup can carry a huge story of resilience. He will be looking for a family who will give him the forever love he deserves. 💛🐾
Julian
Born around March 2023, Julian’s journey began in Lomas del Coapinole, where he was found lying helpless on the street, unable to move. A compassionate woman rushed him to the vet, giving him the chance at life he deserved. Julian is now safe and receiving the care he needs. He’s still undergoing his medical protocols, so he isn’t ready for adoption just yet—but his story is already one of resilience and hope. Julian is super a super chill guy!
For now, Julian is resting, healing, and learning what it means to be safe and loved. When the time comes, he’ll be looking for a family who can give him the forever home he deserves. Julian is a special needs senior.
Juliet
Juliet was rescued alongside Romeo and Goliath, and we believe they’re a little family. When they arrived, they were covered in ticks and fleas, but now they’re safe and starting fresh. She was born approximately May 2022. Juliet is a truly sweet girl who loves to be picked up and cuddled. She’s happiest in your arms, soaking up affection. Walking on a leash isn’t her favorite just yet, and she can feel a little nervous around big, free‑range dogs—but with gentle guidance and patience, she’ll gain confidence over time. For now, we’re just beginning to get to know her, and we can already see the loving companion she’s meant to be.
Kalhua
Born around January 2026, little Kahlua’s story began in a park in Ixtapa. She and Caramel wandered for days, living under cars and searching for scraps, until a kind neighbor noticed them. With compassion, he offered food and shelter, then reached out for help—giving Kahlua the chance at a brighter future. Now safe, healthy, and nearly finished with her protocols, Kahlua is ready to step into the next chapter of her life. She’s a sweet young girl with resilience in her heart and hope in her eyes, eager to discover what it means to be loved and cherished.
✨ With her gentle spirit and brave start, Kahlua is getting ready for the family who will show her that forever really does mean home. 💛
Mar
Born around March 2026, Mar is a sweet tan‑colored pup with a heart as golden as her coat. Her mama, Dove, was rescued in Puerto Vallarta while pregnant, and Mar was one of the five lucky pups born safe and loved. Three siblings have already found homes, while Mar and her sister Arial are now beginning their own journeys with us.
Mar is completing her protocols, so she isn’t quite ready for adoption yet—but she’s growing stronger every day and getting closer to the moment she can meet her forever family. With her gentle nature and puppy sparkle, Mar is sure to bring sunshine wherever she goes.
Mosquito
Meet Mosquito — “Mozzy” for short! 🐾💙
Born around October 2025, Mozzy’s journey began on the far east side of Bucerías, where he was found wandering the streets all alone. Later, his owner was located but asked us to keep him, knowing he needed more care than she could provide. Mozzy is a special needs pup with neurological issues (Hydrocephalus), and he’s still undergoing medical protocols so we can better understand his needs. What we already know is that he’s incredibly sweet and loves to be held—he melts right into your arms and soaks up every bit of affection. 🥰
Because of his challenges, Mozzy can be afraid of loud noises and sudden things, which is completely understandable. He needs a home where someone will be gentle, patient, and understanding of his quirks. He would do best as the only dog, since other dogs sometimes sense his vulnerability and can be rough with him. Mozzy isn’t house-trained yet, but with kindness and consistency, he has the potential to learn. His foster mom Elizabeth says she really loves this little guy and will happily foster him again when she returns. In the meantime, Mozzy is hoping for a safe, loving place to land while he continues his journey.
✨ Mozzy may be small, but his heart is huge. He’s looking for someone who will embrace him just as he is—with gentleness, patience, and endless cuddles.
Pancho
Pancho recently came into rescue alongside Laky as part of a community service intake and then we were asked to keep them. While his time with us has been brief, we’re making sure he’s safe, cared for, and beginning his journey toward a brighter future. We’re still learning all about Pancho’s personality and needs, but what we do know is that he’s a sweet boy deserving of love and a family to call his own. As we gather more information, we’ll share updates about his quirks, favorites, and the kind of home where he’ll thrive.
✨ For now, Pancho’s story is just beginning — and we’re excited to help him find the forever home he deserves.
Romeo the 2nd
Romeo was rescued alongside Juliet and Goliath, and we believe they’re a little family. Romeo is the Dad. When they arrived, they were covered in ticks and fleas, but now they’re safe and starting fresh. He was born approximately May 2022. Romeo is an incredibly sweet boy who loves to be picked up and cuddled. He’s happiest close to you, showering you with affection and kisses. With his gentle nature and loving heart, it’s easy to see why he’s such a favorite. We’re just beginning to get to know Romeo, but one thing is already clear—he’s ready to share his love and become someone’s loyal companion. He is still going through his protocols but he can be reserved for adoption!
Tequila
Born around April 2023, Tequila is a brand‑new rescue boy just starting his journey with us. He was found all alone in the San José area, standing on the main avenue near the Circle, at risk of being hit by a car. Covered in fleas and ticks, he was in desperate need of safety and care.
Now, Tequila is safe and has already begun his health protocols, which means he’s on the path toward finding his forever family. He is such a sweet soul—quiet for now, gentle, and already showing how much he loves cuddles. As he continues to heal and come out of his shell, we can’t wait to see his playful personality shine through. With his fresh start and tender spirit, Tequila is ready to discover toys, belly rubs, and the joy of being loved. 💕
Trixy - (Palliative Care)
Trixy is a calm, gentle soul who has perfected the art of being sweet. Born with a gift for kindness, she’s the kind of dog who makes every space feel warmer just by being there. She’s house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has the kind of good manners that make her a joy to spend time with.Trixy is currently in palliative care, receiving medication for her kidneys and liver, and she’ll be visiting the vet for regular check‑ups. Through it all, she remains her loving, affectionate self — soaking up cuddles, enjoying quiet moments, and reminding everyone around her how precious unconditional love can be. She may be on a special journey, but Trixy’s spirit is all about living in the moment and sharing joy. For those lucky enough to know her, she’s a reminder that every day together is a gift.
