Coqueta
Approx. D.O.B. June 2022. She was rescued in San Vicente. The owners moved and left her on the street. A neighbor was feeding her and saving her from the rain. She was rescued June 20, 2025 and is starting treatment for heartworm, she is almost done and we will have her results toward the end of Octoboer 2025. Happy girl! Very nice dog. No troubles. She independent and likes to be cuddled and is obedient. She understands her name Coqueta. She is good in the car.
Genaro
Genaro is one of the jailbreak trio ā Gigio, Genaro & Gorupo! Estimated birthdate: September 2025 - He is overflowing with puppy charm! One late night, as our co-founder Sandra wrapped up her shift at the jail, she was approached by someone asking for help ā and what she found was heartbreaking. A mama dog, Gina, was tied up on the roadside, while her three tiny pups were darting dangerously close to passing cars. Sandra didnāt think twice. She scooped up the whole family and brought them to safety. Settling into safety and growing stronger every day, these three little boys ā lovingly nicknamed the Jailbreak Trio ā are a whirlwind of joy. Theyāre playful, curious, and bursting with energy. Watching them tumble, chase, and discover the world is pure delight. Theyāre growing fast and will soon be ready for homes filled with love, patience, and plenty of playtime. Each one is a future best friend just waiting to meet their match.
Gina
Meet Gina ā Mama of the Jailbreak Trio. Estimated birthdate: October 2023. Late one night, as our co-founder Sandra was leaving her shift at the jail, she was approached by someone asking for help. What she found was heartbreaking: a young mama dog tied up on the roadside, while her three tiny pups ā Genaro, Gigio, and Gorupo ā ran dangerously close to traffic. Sandra didnāt hesitate. She scooped up the whole family and brought them to safety. Gina is the devoted mom of the Jailbreak Trio, and her quiet strength is nothing short of inspiring. Sheās gentle, watchful, and slowly learning that the world can be kind. Though sheās currently living in our outdoor shelter, sheās settling into safety and growing stronger every day. Gina will need a patient adopter to help her adjust to indoor life ā things like soft beds, cozy routines, and the comfort of a real home are all new to her. But with love and time, sheāll blossom into the loyal companion she was always meant to be.
Hazel Nut (Hazel)- Adoption Pending - Abbotsford, B.C.
Approx. D.O.B. August 2025. He is one of Mamita's (aka Coconut) 4 puppies. His siblings are Tiger Nut (Tigre), Cashew (Cash) & Macadamia (Mac). Mom was rescued while pregnant in the Mezcales, MX area. She is energetic, always hopping around like a bunny. She is way more adventurous than her brothers.
Pillo
Pillo is a new rescue, a chihuahua mix born around March 2025. His journey began on the road to the ranch near Valle, where he was found sitting dangerously close to the highway. He was covered in fleas and ticks and very skinny, but his luck changed the day he was brought into care. Now safe, Pillo has just started his rescue protocols and is beginning the road to recovery. He is not yet ready for adoption, but he would benefit greatly from a local foster home where he can rest, heal, and feel the love heās been missing. Pilloās story is just beginning, and with kindness and care, he will grow stronger and healthier every day.
Robyn - Adoption Pending - Qualicum Beach, B.C.
Approx. D.O.B. October 2028. He was posted on various groups Oct. 4/25, in urgent need yesterday and his location was very close to our shelters. So we felt we had to help him. He has demodectic mange (non contagious) and will start treatment immediately. He also has Erhlichia and Heartworm that he will also begin treatment for.
