Corazon
Corazón got his name for a reason — this little guy is all heart. He was born approximately December 2024. He was rescued near La Plaza in San José by a kind independent rescuer who couldn’t walk past his sweet spirit. Now he’s safe, loved, and getting everything he needs to start his new life. Corazón has one eye, but he doesn’t let that slow him down for a second. He navigates the world with confidence, curiosity, and a whole lot of charm. He’s currently healthy and completing his medical protocols, and will be ready for adoption once he’s fully cleared. He is small to medium sized. This boy is gentle, resilient, and full of love — the kind of pup who bonds deeply and brings joy wherever he goes. Osaya
Approx. D.O.B. August 2025 – Osaya’s journey began in Mezcales, Nayarit, where she was heartbreakingly discarded in the garbage by a neighbor. Thankfully, she was found by the kids of one of our staff members and given a second chance at life.Now safe in a foster home, Osaya is beginning to show us who she is. Her foster mom says she’s been wonderful—sweet, curious, and adjusting beautifully to her new surroundings. She’s done well with dogs ranging from 14 to 65 pounds, though she does like to bark at and chase cats for now. Because she’s still so young and new to rescue, we’re just starting to learn her personality. What we do know is that she’s resilient, affectionate, and ready to grow into the loving companion she was always meant to be. Osaya may have been thrown away once, but she’s a treasure now—waiting for a family who will cherish her and help her blossom into her full, radiant self.
Petunia - Adoption Pending - Calgary, AB
Approx. D.O.B. November 2016. She was picked up in Ixtapa in bad shape. She is very tiny, you could see her bones. She had an infection in her eye.
Trixy - (Palliative Care)
Trixy is a calm, gentle soul who has perfected the art of being sweet. Born with a gift for kindness, she’s the kind of dog who makes every space feel warmer just by being there. She’s house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has the kind of good manners that make her a joy to spend time with.Trixy is currently in palliative care, receiving medication for her kidneys and liver, and she’ll be visiting the vet for regular check‑ups. Through it all, she remains her loving, affectionate self — soaking up cuddles, enjoying quiet moments, and reminding everyone around her how precious unconditional love can be. She may be on a special journey, but Trixy’s spirit is all about living in the moment and sharing joy. For those lucky enough to know her, she’s a reminder that every day together is a gift.

Walter is a handsome pup born around January 2023, and though life hasn’t always been kind to him, his spirit shines through. He was rescued in rough shape from the streets of Puerto Vallarta, but with care and compassion, he’s now safe and on the road to a brighter future. At the shelter, Walter has already shown what a good boy he is — social with the other dogs, well behaved, and eager to be part of the pack. We will get to know him and update as we do.
