Lisa - Adoption Pending - Edmonton, AB
Approx. D.O.B. December 2025 – Lisa’s rescue story is unforgettable. Alongside Homero, March, and Maggy, she was found tied to a tree on the road to the ranch—punished for chasing a chicken. That moment became her turning point, and now she’s safe, beginning a brand‑new chapter. Lisa is still a mystery we’re excited to unravel. She’s young, resilient, and adjusting to life where kindness replaces fear. Every day she reveals a little more of herself—whether it’s a curious glance, a playful spark, or the quiet trust of a pup learning she’s finally safe. Her journey is just beginning, but one thing is clear: Lisa deserves a family who will celebrate her spirit, guide her with patience, and show her what unconditional love feels like. With time, she’ll blossom into the loyal, joyful companion she was always meant to be. Lisa’s past may have been harsh, but her future is wide open—and she’s ready to step into it with hope once she's completed her protocols.
Maggy
Approx. D.O.B. December 2025 – Maggy’s story began on the road to the ranch, where she and her siblings—Homero, Lisa, and March—were tied to a tree after being punished for chasing a chicken. That moment could have defined her, but instead it became the start of her second chance. Maggy isn’t just another rescue pup—she’s a survivor with a spark all her own. There’s a quiet strength in her eyes, as if she knows she’s meant for something better. Osaya
Approx. D.O.B. August 2025 – Osaya’s journey began in Mezcales, Nayarit, where she was heartbreakingly discarded in the garbage by a neighbor. Thankfully, she was found by the children of one of our staff members and given a second chance at life. Now safe in our outdoor shelter, Osaya is showing us more of her radiant personality every day. She’s resilient, affectionate, and always ready for a hug. She handles her crate beautifully, was trained to go outside, and walks like a princess on a leash—riding in the car with the same grace. Despite everything she’s been through, she loves her humans through and through. Osaya has done well with dogs of different sizes, though resource guarding around food has been a challenge. She’ll thrive best in a calmer home where she can be the main focus, or with dogs less powerful than her. She loves children, but her play is still rough and unrefined, so she’ll need patient guidance to learn gentler ways to interact. Like many young, energetic dogs, Osaya has a mischievous streak—she’ll counter surf, jump into the fridge or garbage bins, and growl when she thinks food is hers. She’s always “hungry,” so her adopter will need to be consistent and experienced in teaching boundaries. Osaya is stunning, spirited, and eager to bond—but she’s not a “starter dog.” She needs an experienced adopter who can provide structure, consistency, and the time to help her blossom. With the right guidance, she’ll shine as the extraordinary companion she’s destined to be. Osaya may have been thrown away once, but she’s a treasure now—waiting for a family who will cherish her, invest in her training, and give her the chance to thrive.

She’s learning what it means to be safe, cared for, and loved, and every day her personality shines a little brighter.
