  • Amora - Adoption Pending - Nanaimo, B.C.

Approx. D.O.B. February 2023 – Meet Amora, one of our newest rescues. Her name means “love,” and we can already see that she’s ready to share her heart with the right family. Because she’s just joined us, we’re still getting to know her personality. What we do know is that she’s gentle, curious, and soaking up the safety and care she deserves after her rescue journey. Every day she’s showing us little glimpses of who she is—and we can’t wait to watch her blossom. Amora is at the very beginning of her new chapter, and her story is still being written. She will be looking for a family who will give her patience, guidance, and the unconditional love she’s been waiting for. She may be new to rescue, but one thing is certain: Amora’s future is bright, and she’s ready to become someone’s loyal companion.

  • Arial

Born around March 2026, Ariel is a bright, snowy‑white pup with a heart as pure as her coat. Her mama, Dove, was rescued in Puerto Vallarta while pregnant, and Ariel was one of the lucky five pups born safe and loved. Three siblings have already found homes, while Ariel and her sister Mar are now beginning their own journeys with us.

Ariel is still just starting her protocols, so she’s not quite ready for adoption yet—but she’s growing, learning, and getting closer every day to the moment she can meet her forever family. With her gentle spirit and puppy sparkle, Ariel is sure to bring joy wherever she goes.

  • Biscuit

    Biscuit’s Journey 🐾

Biscuit was born around April 2023 and found hiding under a car on Matamoros Street in Bucerías, where he had been for days before one of our founders rescued him. This little white‑and‑black pup quickly showed his true colors: social, affectionate, and wonderful with kids. Sadly, Biscuit was living with painful orthopedic issues—a luxating patella (slipping kneecap) combined with a bent femur. His left leg was more severely affected, and his first surgery was complicated by an old fracture and a crushed patella. He was in pain, but he faced it bravely. Biscuit is now healing from that surgery and will need about a month and a half before he can undergo the second operation on his other leg. Even though he isn’t ready for adoption just yet, Biscuit’s spirit shines through. He’s resilient, loving, and on his way to a brighter, pain‑free future. With continued care and support, Biscuit will soon be ready to share his joy with a family who will cherish him. 💙

  • Blossom

Born around May 2020, Blossom came into rescue with her sister Briar when their previous family needed help after a medical situation. Now safe with us, she’s beginning her journey toward a brighter future. Blossom is a tender soul who is still finding her confidence. Right now, she’s a little timid and we’re just getting to know her. With time, patience, and love, we believe her sweet personality will shine through. ✨ Blossom isn’t quite ready for adoption yet, but she’s safe, cared for, and starting to learn what it means to be truly loved. Her story is just beginning, and we can’t wait to watch her bloom.

Now safe in rescue, Darby is beginning her protocols and learning what it means to be loved and cared for. She’s a gentle girl with a soft spirit, and we can’t wait to see her blossom as she gets ready for her forever family. 💕

He’s still undergoing his medical protocols, so he isn’t ready for adoption just yet—but his story is already one of resilience and hope. Julian is super a super chill guy!

For now, Julian is resting, healing, and learning what it means to be safe and loved. When the time comes, he’ll be looking for a family who can give him the forever home he deserves.

She was born approximately May 2022. Juliet is a truly sweet girl who loves to be picked up and cuddled. She’s happiest in your arms, soaking up affection. Walking on a leash isn’t her favorite just yet, and she can feel a little nervous around big, free‑range dogs—but with gentle guidance and patience, she’ll gain confidence over time. For now, we’re just beginning to get to know her, and we can already see the loving companion she’s meant to be.

  • Luke

Luke is one of our newest rescues, saved alongside his sister Leia. He was born approximately April 2023. We’re still getting to know him, but what’s clear already is that he’s a sweet pup with a gentle spirit. For now, Luke is safe, loved, and ready to start his journey toward a brighter future.

  • Trixy - (Palliative Care)

Trixy is a calm, gentle soul who has perfected the art of being sweet. Born with a gift for kindness, she’s the kind of dog who makes every space feel warmer just by being there. She’s house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has the kind of good manners that make her a joy to spend time with.Trixy is currently in palliative care, receiving medication for her kidneys and liver, and she’ll be visiting the vet for regular check‑ups.
