Although he wanted to help her, his landlord wouldn’t allow dogs, so he reached out for rescue support. She was rescued June 20, 2025 and is starting treatment for heartworm, she is almost done and we will have her results toward the end of Octoboer 2025. Happy girl! Very nice dog. No troubles. She independent and likes to be cuddled and is obedient. She understands her name Coqueta. She is good in the car.

Pillo is a new rescue, a chihuahua mix born around March 2025. His journey began on the road to the ranch near Valle, where he was found sitting dangerously close to the highway. He was covered in fleas and ticks and very skinny, but his luck changed the day he was brought into care. Now safe, Pillo has just started his rescue protocols and is beginning the road to recovery. He is not yet ready for adoption, but he would benefit greatly from a local foster home where he can rest, heal, and feel the love he’s been missing. Pillo’s story is just beginning, and with kindness and care, he will grow stronger and healthier every day.
