  • Amora - Adoption Pending - Nanaimo, B.C.

    Approx. D.O.B. August 2022 – Meet Amora, one of our newest rescues. Her name means “love,” and we can already see that she’s ready to share her heart with the right family. Because she’s just joined us, we’re still getting to know her personality. What we do know is that she’s gentle, curious, and soaking up the safety and care she deserves after her rescue journey. Every day she’s showing us little glimpses of who she is—and we can’t wait to watch her blossom. Amora is at the very beginning of her new chapter, and her story is still being written. She will be looking for a family who will give her patience, guidance, and the unconditional love she’s been waiting for. She may be new to rescue, but one thing is certain: Amora’s future is bright, and she’s ready to become someone’s loyal companion.

  • Apolo - Adoption Pending - Edmonton, AB

    Approx. D.O.B. December 2019. He was rescued from the street with mange and papilloma.

  • Benito

    Approx. D.O.B. February 2020 – Meet Benito, a brave soul whose journey to safety began alongside his mother, Cecilia. Both were suffering abuse, and when their owner threatened to throw them away, we knew we had to step in. Benito is new to us, so we’re just beginning to discover his personality. What we see already is a dog who has endured hardship but still carries resilience and hope. He’s learning that kindness exists, and every day he’s showing us small glimpses of the companion he’s meant to be. With care and consistency, we believe he’ll blossom into a loyal, affectionate partner—one who will never take his second chance for granted. Benito’s past was dark, but his future is bright. He’s already waiting for someone who will cherish him, protect him, and show him the life he was always meant to have.

  • Boone

    Approx. DOB: February 2023. This sweet boy has just joined us, and we’re starting to learn all about his personality. He’s still settling in, but already showing us glimpses of his gentle nature and curious spirit. Every day brings a little more trust, a little more tail wag, and we can’t wait to share his journey as he blossoms into the happy, loved dog he deserves to be.

  • Capulina

    Approx. D.O.B. January 2025. She is a new rescue (Jan. 2026) and she is pregnant so has a ways to go before being adopted. Information to come as we get to know her.

  • Cecilia

    Born around February 2016, Cecilia’s story is one of resilience and second chances. She and her son Benito were rescued from a heartbreaking situation where they faced abuse and neglect—her former owner even threatened to throw them away. Thankfully, love stepped in, and now Cecilia is safe and beginning her new chapter. Every day she grows stronger, showing more of her gentle spirit and playful personality. She has discovered the joy of toys, and nothing makes her happier than tossing them around or cuddling up with her favorites. Cecilia is learning that the world can be kind, and she’s ready to share her heart with a family who will cherish her. This brave little survivor is proof that hope heals. With patience, love, and plenty of squeaky toys, Cecilia will blossom into the loyal companion she was always meant to be.

  • Corazon

    Corazón got his name for a reason — this little guy is all heart. He was born approximately December 2024. He was rescued near La Plaza in San José by a kind independent rescuer who couldn’t walk past his sweet spirit. Now he’s safe, loved, and getting everything he needs to start his new life. Corazón has one eye, but he doesn’t let that slow him down for a second. He navigates the world with confidence, curiosity, and a whole lot of charm. He’s currently healthy and completing his medical protocols, and will be ready for adoption once he’s fully cleared. He is small to medium sized. This boy is gentle, resilient, and full of love — the kind of pup who bonds deeply and brings joy wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a brave little soul, Corazón might just be your perfect match.

  • Finley

    Meet Finley, a gentle soul who was found outside of Puppyland. From the moment we met him, it was clear he’s a very sweet and lovely dog—one who looks like he’s never truly known the comfort of a cuddle, yet leans into affection as if he’s been waiting for it all his life. Finley is brand new to rescue, so we’re just beginning to discover his personality. What we see already is a dog who is tender and ready to soak up love. Every day he’s showing us more of who he is, and we can’t wait to watch him blossom into the companion he was always meant to be. Finley’s story is just beginning, and he will be looking for a family who will give him patience, kindness, and the chance to experience all the joys of a forever home.

His journey to safety began with his family—Lisa, March, and Maggy—who were found tied to a tree on the road to the ranch after being punished for killing a chicken. We stepped in to give them the second chance they deserved. Homero is still brand new to us, so we’re just beginning to learn his personality. What we see already is a young dog full of resilience, curiosity, and the quiet strength that comes from surviving hardship. Each day he’s showing us more of who he is, and we can’t wait to watch him blossom into the loving companion he was always meant to be. With time and love, we believe he’ll grow into a loyal, affectionate partner who never takes his second chance for granted. Homero’s past was unfair, but his future is bright.

    Approx. D.O.B. December 2025 – Maggy’s story began on the road to the ranch, where she and her siblings—Homero, Lisa, and March—were tied to a tree after being punished for chasing a chicken. That moment could have defined her, but instead it became the start of her second chance. Maggy isn’t just another rescue pup—she’s a survivor with a spark all her own. There’s a quiet strength in her eyes, as if she knows she’s meant for something better. Alongside his siblings Homero, Lisa, and Maggy, he was found tied to a tree on the road to the ranch. That moment could have ended his story, but instead it opened the door to a brand‑new beginning. March has a spark all his own. He’s curious, alert, and seems to be taking in every detail of ranch life as if he’s studying the world for the first time. There’s a gentle sweetness about him, mixed with the resilience of a dog who’s ready to leave hardship behind. We’re just starting to get to know him, but one thing is clear: March is ready to grow into the kind of companion who thrives on love, patience, and kindness. His past may have been unfair, but his tomorrow is full of promise—and he’s ready to embrace it with courage.

  • Nitro - Adoption Pending - Vernon, B.C.

    Born around July 2024, Nitro is still finding his paws in the world. He’s a gentle soul with a timid streak, but once he feels safe, his true personality shines through—super cuddly and endlessly affectionate. He wants nothing more than to be close to people, soaking up love and companionship every chance he gets. Nitro is learning that the world is a kind place, and with patience and care, he’ll blossom into the devoted best friend he’s meant to be.

  • Pita

    Meet Pita, one of our newest rescue arrivals. She’s just beginning her journey with us, and while we don’t know her yet, we do know she’s safe now and her future is full of promise. As we spend more time with her, we’ll discover her personality and the unique traits that make her special. For now, Pita is simply a dog at the very start of her second chance—a chance to be loved, cared for, and eventually find her forever home.

    Approx. DOB: November 2025. Raya’s story began on Tondoroque road, near CFE, where she was rescued alongside her mom, Lucero. Still just a youngster, Raya is discovering the world with wide-eyed curiosity and a gentle spirit. She’s learning what it means to be safe, cared for, and loved, and every day her personality shines a little brighter. With her mom by her side, Raya is stepping into a new chapter filled with hope, play, and the promise of a forever family.   • Sparky - Adoption Pending - Calgary, AB

  • Trixy - (Palliative Care)

    Trixy is a calm, gentle soul who has perfected the art of being sweet. Born with a gift for kindness, she’s the kind of dog who makes every space feel warmer just by being there. She’s house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has the kind of good manners that make her a joy to spend time with.Trixy is currently in palliative care, receiving medication for her kidneys and liver, and she’ll be visiting the vet for regular check‑ups. Through it all, she remains her loving, affectionate self — soaking up cuddles, enjoying quiet moments, and reminding everyone around her how precious unconditional love can be. She may be on a special journey, but Trixy’s spirit is all about living in the moment and sharing joy. For those lucky enough to know her, she’s a reminder that every day together is a gift.
