Bruno’s story began near the jail in La Desembocada, weighs 55 pounds where his brave mama Bella was found with eight tiny pups—just three weeks old and clinging to hope.
His siblings are: Balam, Bali, Been, Bimbo, Biri, Boni, Brisa & Bruno (male). On January 7, 2025, their lives changed. Rescued from isolation, vaccinated, and finally safe, Bruno and his siblings began their journey toward something better. Born around December 2024, Bruno has grown into a happy, active boy with a soft heart and a joyful spirit. He’s the kind of dog who lights up when he sees people—tail wagging, eyes bright, ready to say hello like it’s the best part of his day. He’s lived in an outdoor shelter surrounded by other dogs, so he’s still learning what it means to have one-on-one time, a quiet space, and a human who’s just his. Bruno is medium energy, loves to walk, and has a nose shaped like a heart—yes, really. It’s the kind of detail that makes you smile every time you look at him. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of quiet charm. If you’re looking for a companion who’s survived the hard part and is ready for the healing, Bruno is waiting. His heart is open. His paws are steady. And his story is just beginning.
