  • Chilindrina - Available in Edson, AB area

    🐾 Hi, I’m Chilindrina—Chili if you like nicknames! 🐾

My rescue story began when I was left at the gate of a shelter, wide‑eyed and hoping someone would notice me. Since then, I’ve been waiting patiently for my forever family. On April 21, 2026, I finally got a taste of home life when I moved into a foster home. I’m learning what it feels like to be loved, cared for, and part of a family—and I’m soaking it all up! I was born around June 2021, and I’ve grown into a sweet, affectionate girl with a playful side. I walk nicely on leash, love my daily outings, and I’m happiest when I can lean into your side for cuddles. I’m gentle and kind, though I can be a little sneaky when it comes to food—it’s hard to resist! My fosters say I’m cuddly, sweet, super goofy, and I make them laugh all the time. They’re really glad I’m here with them, and they’re helping me overcome my fear of bigger dogs. I was attacked by larger dogs before, so I’m learning to trust again—but I’m making progress! Just the other day I didn’t even notice them around, I was too busy happily exploring and sniffing. I’d be perfectly happy as your one‑and‑only dog, or I could share my home with other small dogs who enjoy a calm life. Cats, though? No thank you—I’d rather not have them as roommates. I’m not the most outgoing pup at first, but once I trust you, I blossom into a loving companion who soaks up affection like sunshine. I’m a good dog—sweet, a little silly, and very deserving of a second chance. 47 pounds.

  • Chiquilla

Born around June 2023, Chiquilla’s story began in the San Vicente area. A kind man brought her to the ranch, explaining that while his living space was too small to keep her, he didn’t want her to end up on the street. Thanks to his compassion, Chiquilla is safe and starting her new journey.

This sweet young girl has begun her health protocols, ensuring she’ll be ready for adoption soon. With her gentle spirit and curious eyes, Chiquilla is learning what it means to be cared for and is eager to discover the joys of family life.

Chiquilla is getting ready to grow, play, and be cherished in a forever home filled with love. Weighs 47lbs.

  • Laika

Born around October 2020, weighs 48 pounds Laika has already lived through more pain than any soul should. Rescued from a heartbreaking situation where she was being abused by someone struggling with addiction, Laika’s story is one of quiet strength and survival. Despite the cruelty she endured, she remains a beautiful, sweet spirit — a testament to the resilience of love. aika is now safe in an outdoor shelter, where she’s slowly learning that not all hands hurt. She longs for a home where she can be the only dog — not because she doesn’t love, but because she deserves to feel safe, cherished, and never have to compete for affection again. She’ll need a little guidance as she adjusts to life inside a home, but her heart is wide open. With patience, kindness, and a soft place to land, Laika will blossom into the loyal, loving companion she was always meant to be. If you have room in your heart and home for a survivor who’s ready to start again, Laika is waiting — not just for a home, but for someone to believe in her.

  • Carlitos

Born on February 14, 2022, weighs 40 pounds, alongside his siblings Pumba and Timon, Carlitos was the smallest pup from the beloved Princessa litter. This white-and-tan sweetheart has a heart as big as the sky and a gentle spirit that’s impossible not to love. Carlitos is a certified Good Boy who gets along beautifully with other dogs and adores kids. He’s playful and curious, always up for a game or a cuddle, though he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But once he feels safe, Carlitos blossoms — leaning in for affection, seeking out companionship, and quietly asking to be part of your world. Currently living in an outdoor shelter, Carlitos is dreaming of a cozy home where he can learn the rhythms of indoor life — with patience, guidance, and lots of love. He’s ready to trade the sounds of barking for bedtime snuggles, and the shelter yard for a backyard or a sunny spot on the couch. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with puppy charm, Carlitos is waiting. He may be the smallest of his trio, but he’s got a mighty heart — and he’s ready to give it to someone who sees him, loves him, and helps him feel truly at home.

  • Cachito

Cachito’s story began in Mezcales, where he was found poisoned near a pile of garbage — discarded, but not defeated. Thanks to the shelter’s quick action, this scrappy little fighter pulled through. And now, after an outrageously long time of tail wags, zoomies, and hopeful glances, he’s still waiting for someone to see the gem he truly is. Born around January 2024, Cachito is a joyful mix of energy and affection. He’s got the zoomies down to an art form, loves his walks, and will happily shower you with kisses before flopping down for a cuddle. He’s playful, sweet, and full of life — the kind of dog who makes every day feel like a celebration. He’s been living in an outdoor shelter, so home life will be new to him. But with a little patience and a lot of love, he’ll learn the ropes — and probably teach you a few things about resilience and joy along the way. Cachito isn’t just looking for a home. He’s looking for someone who sees his past, honors his spirit, and wants to help him write the next chapter — one filled with belly rubs, adventures, and unconditional love. 44 pounds.

  • Dozer

Dozer’s journey began on the road in San Vicente, where he was found as a skinny little puppy with a spark of mischief already shining through. Born around March 2023, weighing at 41.8lbs, he has grown into a lively, playful young dog who is equal parts troublemaker and heart-stealer. Dozer has a big personality and isn’t shy about showing it. He loves to stir up fun and often takes on the role of ringleader when he’s with other dogs, encouraging play and adventure. While he gets along well with canine companions, he prefers to keep his food to himself and would rather not share at mealtime. On his own, Dozer is the perfect companion—affectionate, goofy, and loyal. He thrives on attention and has a way of making people laugh with his antics. Because he currently lives in an outdoor shelter, he will need some guidance with house training when he finds his forever home, but with patience and consistency he will quickly learn. Dozer is a guy with spunk, charm, and a whole lot of love to give. He’s looking for a family who can appreciate his playful spirit, guide him with kindness, and give him the safe, happy home he deserves.

  • Cuba

Approx. Date of Birth: September 2023. Cuba’s story began in San JosĆ© Plaza, where he was found very skinny and in need of care. Since his rescue, this young pup has blossomed into a lively, playful companion who loves to be on the move. His energy and spirit shine through in everything he does — whether it’s chasing after toys or enjoying time with his canine friends. Cuba does especially well with dogs his own size, happily joining in their games and sharing space with ease. He’s currently living in an outdoor shelter, where he’s learning the rhythms of daily life and waiting patiently for a family to call his own. With his resilience, joyful personality, and love for play, Cuba is ready to bring happiness and companionship to the right home. 37 pounds.

  • Gilligan

Ahoy there, future best friend! Gilligan, weighing in at 37 pounds, may not have arrived on a three-hour tour, but his journey is one for the books. This handsome pup and his buddy Skipper were found one moonlit night on Calle Matamoros, outside the home of one of our founders. Before their arrival, they had been tied with string or wire, leaving painful cuts across their bodies—a heartbreaking sign of their past. Yet somehow, they showed up clean, flea-free, and ready for a fresh start. It was as if fate dropped them off at the doorstep of hope. Gilligan, born around August 2024, has spent far too many days at our shelter dreaming of his forever home. And what a dreamboat he is! With noble eyes and a playful heart, this energetic explorer loves to run, splash in his water tub, and soak up every ounce of joy the day offers. He’s got the spirit of a puppy and the soul of a survivor. Currently living in an outdoor shelter, Gilligan will need a little guidance with house training—but he’s smart, eager, and ready to learn. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a splash of adventure and a whole lot of love, Gilligan’s your guy.

Adopt Gilligan and let the adventures begin—no shipwrecks, just tail wags and happy endings.

  • Kasaan

Born around February 2023, weighs 38lbs, Kasaan arrived at our shelter as one of Nube’s puppies—his past a mystery, but his heart wide open. Nearly three years have passed, and this sweet, affectionate boy is still waiting for someone to see the gentle soul behind his playful eyes. Kasaan is a bundle of energy wrapped in kindness. He’s noble, loving, and always ready to make a new doggy friend. Whether he’s chasing a breeze, wagging his tail at a visitor, or leaning in for a cuddle, Kasaan radiates joy. He’s never known the comfort of a home, but he’s more than ready to learn what love looks like beyond the shelter gates. He’s grown up in an outdoor kennel, but his spirit has never been confined. What he needs now is a chance—a soft bed, a patient heart, and a forever family to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart full of hope and a tail that never quits, Kasaan is ready to bring sunshine into your life.

  • Malibu

Born around May 2025, weighs 44.5lbs, Malibu is one of six puppies rescued near the Mezcales shelter, alongside his siblings Martin, Mina, Momo, Moscu, and Morocco. Their mom was living on the street, doing her best to care for them until our Salty Dog team stepped in. When found, the pups were covered in fleas and ticks and battling worms—but their story quickly turned toward hope. Malibu is a sweet sole with a shy nature. At first she hangs back, but with a soft voice, a kind hand, and a little patience, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet, affectionate side. She loves gentle attention and blossoms when she feels safe. Currently living in an outdoor shelter, Malibu will need guidance as she learns the comforts of home life—like cozy beds, routines, and the security of a family. What she needs most is someone patient and loving who can help her grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be. Malibu’s journey began on the street, but her future is full of promise. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves?

  • Jerry

Born around May 2024, weighing in at 40 pounds Jerry’s story began outside the home of one of our Puppyland staff. He was in a tough spot — skinny, covered in ticks and fleas — but with care and love, he’s blossomed into the confident, active boy he was meant to be. Jerry is a natural leader with a social side that shines when he’s with other dogs. He loves people and treats especially! At the ranch, he enjoys his free‑range lifestyle, happily trotting along beside you as you walk, always curious and engaged. His energy and presence make him a joy to be around, and he’s ready to bring that same spark into a forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s both playful and strong‑spirited, Jerry is waiting to meet you. šŸ’›

  • Lucero

Lucero, whose name means bright star, truly lives up to it. Born around January 2023, this beautiful husky mix was rescued on Tondoroque Road near CFE with her puppy Raya. From the very beginning, her gentle nature shone through—calm, sweet, and endlessly kind. She has a quiet grace about her, the sort of presence that makes you feel instantly at ease. Lucero is not only a devoted mother but also a dog with a tender soul, ready to leave behind her rescue story and step into the warmth of a forever home. With her soft spirit and loving heart, she is sure to light up the lives of those lucky enough to welcome her. 45 pounds.

  • Lorenzo

Born around November 2022, approx. 40 pounds, Lorenzo is one of our original shelter pups — and he’s also Lola’s brother! These two grew up side by side, surrounded by wagging tails, sunshine, and the rhythm of rescue life. Lorenzo has been with us for over 2000 days, and while the shelter has shaped his playful heart, it’s time for him to discover what it means to be part of a family. Lorenzo is pure joy in motion: high-energy, super social, and always ready to play. He shares his kennel with other dogs and enjoys companionship and activity, though he’s not shy about taking the lead when playtime kicks off. Lorenzo’s goofy zoomies and bold, cheerful energy make him a standout in the pack — always ready to stir up fun and keep the vibe lively. Because he’s only known outdoor shelter life, Lorenzo will need guidance as he transitions into a home — learning the comforts of indoor living, basic manners, and the magic of couch cuddles. But with patience, consistency, and love, he’ll blossom into the loyal, lively companion he’s meant to be. If you’re an active person or family looking for a dog who’ll keep you smiling and moving, Lorenzo might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to leap into his next chapter!

  • Mila

Born around January 2023, weighs 42 pounds, Mila’s story is one of grit, grace, and glorious tail wags. She was hit by a car and arrived at our rescue with a broken leg and a dislocated back—but Mila wasn’t about to let that slow her down. After one surgery and a whole lot of love, she’s bounced back like a furry superhero. Now fully recovered, Mila is a whirlwind of joy! Think husky energy in a sleek, social package—she’s playful, active, and always ready for adventure. She struts beautifully on a leash, adores car rides (windows down, ears flapping!), and makes friends faster than you can say ā€œtreat.ā€ Mila currently lives in an outdoor shelter, so she’ll need a little help with house training. But she’s smart, eager, and oh-so-ready to learn. What she really needs is a home where she can stretch her legs, share her love, and finally rest her brave little heart. Mila’s not just a survivor—she’s a thriver. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a story that inspires and a spirit that never quits, Mila is waiting to meet you.

  • Lili

Born on November 8, 2023, weighs 42 pounds Lili’s journey began with a brave act of kindness. Her mama Lucy and siblings were rescued from a difficult situation by a man who, despite being homeless, stepped up to protect them and asked for help. Thanks to that compassion, Lili now has a chance at a beautiful future—and she’s ready to find her forever family. Lili is a stunning girl with a sleek black coat and a gentle heart. She’s calm, playful, and full of energy—a lovely mix of cuddle bug and adventure buddy. She can be shy at first, but give her a little time and she’ll blossom into a loyal companion. She’s good with people and motorcycles, and while she’s still learning about unfamiliar animals like chickens, pigeons, and iguanas, she’s curious and open-hearted. She’s a strong puller on the leash (this girl loves to move!), but with a bit of training, she’ll be a fantastic walking partner. Lili currently lives in an outdoor shelter in Nayarit, Mexico, so she’ll need some guidance as she adjusts to home life—but she’s eager to learn and be loved. Lili is available for adoption both locally in Mexico and internationally. If you’re in Canada, she can fly to you with a flight angel—most commonly to Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Victoria. Or, if you’re nearby, she’d love to meet you in person! šŸ’– Adopt Lili and give her the loving home she’s been waiting for. She’ll thank you with every wag, cuddle, and joyful run.

  • Peluche

🐾 Meet Peluche — Our Giant Senior Teddy with a Spirited Soul

Born around December 2018, weighs 44lbs, Peluche is a big, bouncy bundle of love who lives up to his name — he’s basically a walking stuffed animal with a tail! Found wounded and alone on the streets of San Vicente, this brave boy has healed into a vibrant, energetic pup who’s ready to play, leap, and love with all his might.

Peluche has been with us for so so long, and during that time, he’s overcome more than most dogs ever face. He was diagnosed with TVT cancer affecting his neck and penis — but after a full course of chemotherapy and lots of TLC, his cytology report is now clean. Peluche is officially cancer-free! He currently lives in our outdoor shelter and will need a little help adjusting to indoor life — things like stairs, soft beds, and the rhythm of a home will be new to him. But with patience and love, he’ll settle in beautifully. He adores other dogs and turns every interaction into a joyful whirlwind of zoomies and goofy grins. He’s got a lot of energy and a big personality to match — watching him play is like witnessing a living cartoon come to life. He’s cuddly, intense, and absolutely unforgettable. Peluche is proof that resilience can be wrapped in fur and fueled by friendship.

If you’re looking for a loyal friend who brings happiness, heart, and a little sass to your days, Nube might just be your perfect match.

  • Xander

Xander’s journey is one of courage and compassion. Born around November 2022, weighs 37lbs, he was found in the La Mission area after being hit by a car. Bienstar was called to help, but when they said there was nothing they could do and left him behind, our founder couldn’t turn away. She went to him, and found Xander crying in pain, desperate for someone to care.vX-rays revealed fractures in his hips and calcification in his spine. Despite these challenges, our vet is hopeful that with time and treatment, Xander will walk again — and we’ve already seen encouraging improvements in just a short period.vThrough it all, Xander has shown a gentle spirit and remarkable resilience. He is now safe, undergoing protocols, and beginning his healing journey. While he is not yet ready for adoption, Xander would benefit greatly from a local foster home where he can rest, recover, and feel the love he has always deserved. Xander’s story is a reminder of the power of compassion. With patience, care, and kindness, his future can be filled with comfort, strength, and the joy of belonging

  • Tina

She’s the sweetest companion you could ask for—happy, social, and ready to share her love with a family of her own. Tina is a smart pup who enjoys staying active, whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or light exercise. She gets along well with other dogs, though she prefers calm companions over puppies or overly energetic pals. When the day winds down, Tina loves nothing more than being close to her people—snuggling up to watch TV or simply keeping you company. And yes, she’s a big fan of snacks, which makes her extra easy to spoil! With her gentle nature, affectionate heart, and playful spirit, Tina is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and plenty of cuddles into her forever home.

  • Skye

Born around October 2022, weighs 42lbs, Skye’s story began in a dusty yard behind Aceros Murillo, where she waited quietly for someone to notice her. On October 25th, our founders received a message: there was a dog who needed help. Without hesitation, they drove out to meet her — and Skye, tail wagging and eyes full of hope, was ready to be rescued. Though her spirit was bright, her body was battling a severe case of TVT (transmissible venereal tumor) cancer. She needed urgent care and isolation. So, with love and urgency, our team built her a quarantine pen at the ranch — a safe haven where she could begin her healing journey.

Skye is now receiving veterinary care and preparing for chemotherapy. Through it all, she’s remained a gentle soul who adores people and perks up for walks. Her resilience is matched only by her sweetness — she greets kindness with gratitude and walks with quiet joy. She’s not just surviving — she’s blooming. Skye is proof that love builds shelter, and hope builds futures.

  • Sanson

44 pounds If you're looking for a dog who brings the party wherever he goes—look no further than Sanson! Born around June 2024, Sanson has spent too many days at the shelter, charming everyone with his playful energy and affectionate nature. He’s a social butterfly who walks like a pro, gets along great with his kennel mates, and has a serious love affair with water—splashing, playing, and turning puddles into his personal playground. Sanson lives in an outdoor shelter, so he’ll need a little help with house training, but his eagerness to please and fun-loving personality make him a quick learner. Whether it’s a hike, a beach day, or just a backyard hose party, Sanson is ready to be your adventure buddy and cuddle king. Ready to add a splash of happiness to your life? Sanson’s tail is wagging just for you.

  • Yoyo

37 pounds Born around October 2024, Yoyo’s story began in a quiet riverbed nestled in the hills near Pitillal, Puerto Vallarta. He was one of six puppies rescued alongside their devoted mama, Yoli. Tragically, two of his siblings didn’t survive—but Yoyo did, carrying their memory forward with every joyful stride. Now after a long time into shelter life, Yoyo has grown into a handsome, affectionate boy with a calm spirit and a runner’s heart. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and greets the world with quiet kindness. Though his energy is high, it’s never overwhelming—he’s the kind of dog who’ll happily chase a breeze, then curl up beside you for a peaceful moment. Yoyo has never known the comforts of a home, but he’s ready to learn. We see a curious spirit and a gentle resilience as she explores ranch life. Each day she reveals a little more—whether it’s a cautious glance, a playful spark, or the calm presence of a dog learning she’s safe. She loves people and to be petted. Sally’s journey is only just beginning. She is ready to find a family who will offer her patience, kindness, and the joy of a forever home.

  • Rossy

Rossy’s journey began in the most unexpected way—through the unwavering love of her mother, Daysi. When Daysi was rescued, she had milk, and her rescuers knew there were puppies out there who needed help. With a long leash and a lot of hope, they followed Daysi back to her home in Jarretaderas. What they found was heartbreaking: nine tiny puppies living in the middle of garbage, in a place that offered no care or comfort. Among them was Rossy—bright-eyed, brave, and full of life. Born on December 14, 2023, weighs 44lbs, Rossy has grown into a noble and energetic young dog. She’s playful, spirited, and gets along wonderfully with her kennel mates. Though she’s spent a very long time in an outdoor shelter, her heart is full of love and readiness for a real home. She’ll need some help with house training, but her gentle nature and eagerness to learn make her a perfect candidate for a loving family. Rossy is more than just a rescue—she’s a survivor, a loyal companion, and a joyful soul waiting to bring sunshine into someone’s life. If you’re looking for a dog who will greet every day with tail wags and boundless affection, Rossy is ready to meet you

  • Tammy

Tammy’s journey began in February 2026, when a man rescued her. At just about 8 months old (born around June 2024), Tammy was already carrying a big surprise—she was pregnant. She gave birth to six puppies, four of whom have already been adopted and one passed away. Now Tammy and her remaining pup, Taylor, are looking for their forever homes!

Tammy is a gorgeous young husky mom, weighing in at 38 lbs, with striking looks and a lively personality. Her rescuer described her as very active, she spent much of her time tied up on a chain. Despite that, Tammy’s spirit hasn’t dimmed—she’s ready to leave that behind and discover what freedom, love, and family truly mean.

With her playful energy, resilience, and loyal heart, Tammy deserves a home where she can run, explore, and be cherished. She’s not just a survivor—she’s a devoted mom and a dog full of potential waiting to blossom in the right hands.

  • Nelson

Nelson’s story began in a ditch on the east side of BucerĆas—no mom in sight, just six chubby little pups left behind like forgotten luggage. He and his siblings were sick with coronavirus, (his siblings names are: Nugget, Nora, Natalia & Nellie and Noel but sadly Noel passed away), but their round bellies and bright eyes told a different story: they were fighters. Survivors. And Nelson? He’s been smiling ever since. Born around August 2024, weighs 41lbs, Nelson has now spent wa y to long at the shelter, patiently waiting for someone to see the treasure he is. He’s a sleek black beauty with a happy soul, a wagging tail, and a love for life that’s contagious. He adores being petted, loves to run, and plays sweetly with his doggy friends. His energy is just right—not too much, not too little—and his heart is 100% pure. Nelson has never lived in a home, so he’ll need a little help learning the ropes. But with his gentle nature and eagerness to please, he’s more than ready to trade his kennel for a couch and his dirt yard for a backyard (or a park, or a beach, or your lap).

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s already overcome the odds and still believes in love, Nelson is ready to believe in you.

  • Lila

Born around July 2023, weighs 38lbs, Lila is a gentle young mama whose love shines through her two beautiful pups, Cort and Gala. She came to us after a kind lady reached out for help, knowing Lila and her little family deserved a chance at a brighter future. Lila has a soft spirit and a nurturing heart—she’s the kind of dog who makes you feel cared for just by being near. She’s still discovering what it means to be safe and loved, but every day she shows us more of her sweet personality. With her soulful eyes and calm presence, Lila is ready to write the next chapter of her life with a family who will cherish her as much as she’s cherished her babies. šŸ’•

  • Jamaica

Approx. Date of Birth: September 2023 & weighs 39lbs. Rescued by an independent rescuer, Yesenia, near San JosĆ© Plaza, this young pup came to safety very skinny and in need of care. Despite her rough start, she has shown nothing but joy and gratitude — a truly happy dog with a playful spirit. She loves being active and does wonderfully with other dogs her own size, joining in their games and companionship with ease. Currently, she is living in an outdoor shelter, so she will need gentle guidance with house training as she transitions into a loving home. With her bright personality and resilient heart, she’s ready to bring warmth, fun, and unconditional love to the family who welcomes her.

  • Denzel

Born around April 2025, weighing in at 37 pounds and found wandering the streets alone, Denzel’s story took a hopeful turn when someone brought him straight to one of our founder’s doors—like a little gift wrapped in fur and curiosity. Since then, he’s been lighting up our shelter with his black-and-white charm and boundless puppy energy.

Denzel is a playful dynamo who adores playing with other dogs and turning any patch of gravel into a playground. He’s got a high-energy spirit and a heart full of love, but he’s still learning that leashes aren’t scary and that humans can be gentle guides. He’s great with adults, though he’s a little shy around children—just needs time and kindness to feel safe. After a lengthy stay in our outdoor shelter, Denzel still hasn’t experienced the magic of a real home. He doesn’t know what a couch feels like, or how wonderful it is to nap in a sunbeam by the window. But he’s ready. Ready to learn, to trust, and to love with everything he’s got. If you’re looking for a puppy with a playful soul and a heart waiting to bloom, Denzel is ready for his close-up—and a forever family to call his own.

  • Vivis

On July 23, 2025, in a cozy corner of Valle Dorado, seven tiny tails made their grand debut into the world. Meet the boys: Vayo, Vichi, Vito, and Volo — full of bounce, charm, and puppy mischief. And the girls: Vera, Viana, and Vivis — sugar, spice, and everything nice (with a side of zoomies). They’re healthy, happy, and oh-so-playful — the kind of puppies that make your heart do a little somersault. Their current caretaker asked us to help spread the word, and we’re hoping you’ll help too. Weighs 40lbs.

  • Bianca

Rescued from the hustle and bustle of Pitillal Square in Puerto Vallarta, Bianca burst onto the scene like a four-legged firecracker. Born around May 2024, weighing 42lbs, this high-energy heartthrob is all about playtime, snuggles, and sprinting like she’s training for the Dog Olympics. Bianca’s got personality in spades: she’s affectionate, goofy, and totally in love with life. She’s also got opinions—especially about other dogs (she’s selective, thank you very much) and chickens (hard pass). Birds stress her out, but humans? She’s all tail wags and happy hops. She had some skin issues when she arrived, but with care and love, she’s looking fabulous and feeling even better. Bianca thrives on movement, fun, and meaningful connection. She’s not just a good dog—she’s a great one, with a spark that lights up the yard. If you’re looking for a running buddy, a cuddle monster, and a dog who’ll keep you laughing, Bianca’s ready to zoom into your life and steal your heart.

  • Lola

Lola has been waiting 3 years.

Since she was just a puppy, Lola has watched other dogs leave for homes while she stayed behind. Day after day. Month after month. Year after year.

She's only about 3 years old, born end of 2022, incredibly affectionate, loves other dogs, and is happiest chasing zoomies before curling up for cuddles. She's never had a family to call her own, but she hasn't stopped believing one will come.

She needs someone that can show guidance with house training, but shes eager to learn and even more to please!

  • Lyndsey

48 pounds Lyndsey is a stunning girl with one sparkling blue eye and one soulful brown eye, dressed in a gorgeous black, tan, and white coat. Born around June 2022, her journey has been one of survival and strength. She was left to suffer in the streets with a terrible case of TVT cancer, vulnerable and chased by other dogs. Thankfully, one of our shelter staff opened their home to her so she could begin isolation and chemotherapy treatment. With the help of her rescuer and our vet, Lyndsey received the care she needed. Today, she has completed all her treatments, been tested, and is officially cancer free! Lyndsey is a sweet, gentle, and quiet soul. She currently lives in an outdoor shelter, so she will need some guidance to learn the ropes of home life. But with patience and love, she will blossom into the devoted companion she was always meant to be. Now healthy and ready, Lyndsey is waiting for her forever family to see her beauty, both inside and out, and give her the safe, loving home she deserves.

  • Moscu

Moscu was born approximately May 2025 & weighs approximately 48 pounds, on the streets near the Mezcales shelter, part of a scrappy, lovable crew of six siblings: Malibu, Martin, Mina, Momo, Moscu, and Morocco. Their mama tried to raise them roadside, and though a Salty Dog team member began helping with vet care and medications, they remained street dogs—community pups with no real home. Covered in fleas, ticks, and battling worms, the puppies were finally brought into our rescue on September 15, 2025. That day marked the start of a new chapter: safety, care, and the chance to find families of their own. Moscu is a playful, affectionate boy who thrives around other dogs and adores being petted. He’s currently living in an outdoor shelter, so he’ll need a bit of guidance as he learns the rhythms of home life—but his heart is wide open, and he’s ready to bond. If you’re looking for a pup with resilience, sweetness, and a spark of streetwise charm, Moscu is waiting to meet you.

  • Nieve

weighs 47 pounds Approx. D.O.B. January 2023. She was found by La Misión with a broken leg. Some people rescued her and took her to a vet. She had a surgery, but she never recovered; she was worse. Then they asked for help from us, and we brought her to our vet, who suggested amputation because the first surgery did not work and just gave her pain. That vet amputated the leg and now she's a beautiful and happy girl. Nieve is a sweet girl. Very affectionate. Her foster takes her to the beach, and she likes to ride in the car. She’s very good. She does sometimes want all the attention... and her foster parents have 3 more dogs as well.

  • Soruyo

Soruyo, born around July 2024, weighs 48lbs, is a little trooper with a rescue story that shows just how strong and special he is. He came into the world near the Ameca River, where tragedy struck his family. His mom, already struggling to protect her babies, was hit by cars and didn’t survive. One by one, his siblings passed away too — but Soruyo held on. Against all odds, he survived, and now he’s ready for a brighter future. This sweet boy has grown into a friendly, playful, and affectionate companion who loves being close to ā€œhis person.ā€ He was house trained in foster care and quickly learned simple commands like ā€œsit,ā€ especially when treats are involved. He walks beautifully on a harness and leash, and even showed at adoption fairs that he could stroll calmly without one. He’s smart, eager to please, and happiest when he’s part of someone’s daily life. Soruyo’s heart is as big as his spirit. He grew up alongside Chihuahua puppies in foster care, earning the nickname ā€œBig Brotherā€ because of how gentle and loving he was with them. He enjoys the company of people, kids, and other dogs, and he’s always ready to play or cuddle. Protective by nature, Soruyo will be a loyal guardian as well as a devoted friend. His last foster felt he might do especially well with a single woman who wants a faithful companion, but he would also thrive with a family who can give him love, guidance, and plenty of adventures. Now back in an outdoor shelter, Soruyo is waiting for the chance to return to the comforts of home life. He deserves a family who will see the brave survivor he is and give him the love he’s been waiting for. With his sweetness, loyalty, and playful energy, Soruyo will not only win your heart — he’ll protect it too.

šŸ’– Soruyo is ready to be someone’s best friend.

  • Tommy

48 pounds Tommy’s journey began in Jarretaderas, Nayarit, where he and his eight brothers were rescued during a parvo outbreak. It was a tough start—four of the pups didn’t survive—but Tommy, along with Patotas, Goldo, and Manchas, pulled through with wagging tails and hearts full of joy. Born around November 2022, Tommy is a big, beautiful boy with the soul of a playful pup. He’s a little timid at first, but once he warms up, he’s all cuddles, tail wags, and happy hops. He loves to jump up to say hello (he’s working on his manners!) and melts hearts with his affectionate nature. Tommy is social, sweet, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s currently living in an outdoor shelter, so he’ll need a little help learning the comforts of home life—but with love and patience, he’ll thrive. If you’re looking for a gentle giant with a goofy grin and a heart as soft as his fur, Tommy is ready to leap into your life—and your lap.
