Born around August 2024 and rescued from the infamous East Side Ditch Puppy 1 crew, Nugget is one of six chubby little survivors who were dumped (not born!) in a ditch on the east side of Bucerias. Despite battling coronavirus, Nugget bounced back with tail wags and puppy charm to spare. He lost his sibling Noel along the way, but this resilient pup carries the spirit of their story forward—with love, playfulness, and a whole lot of wiggle. Nugget is a bath-loving, dog-friendly, affection-powered bundle of joy. He’s got energy to burn, cuddles to give, and a heart as golden as his name. He’s currently living at an outdoor shelter in Nayarit, Mexico, dreaming of a home where he can learn the ropes of indoor life (house training included!) and finally claim his spot on a cozy couch.
Whether you’re local or across the miles, Nugget is ready to travel with a flight angel by his side—bringing love from Mexico straight to your heart. He’s not just a rescue—he’s a reminder that love always finds a way out of the ditch.
