Meet Lupis, a little survivor with a heart as big as her journey.
Before finding safety, Lupis spent a long time living on the streets in the San José area alongside another dog who was her constant companion. Kind people would feed them and worry about them, but day after day they remained homeless and vulnerable. Everything changed when an independent rescuer stepped in and brought them both to safety.
What nobody realized at first was that Lupis was carrying a very special surprise. Around six weeks pregnant when she was rescued, she soon gave birth to seven beautiful puppies and proved herself to be a devoted and loving mum. Thanks to her, her puppies got the chance to grow up safe, cared for, and ready to find families of their own.
Now that her puppies are growing up and finding homes, it's Lupis's turn to be the one who is cherished. She has spent her life looking after others and overcoming challenges with quiet resilience. We think she's more than earned the chance to enjoy a comfortable bed, plenty of love, and a forever family of her very own.
Lupis's street days are behind her. Now she's ready for the happy ending she deserves. ❤️🐾
