This cheerful young pup was born into a home where she was never truly cared for. Thankfully, Chely and Osiris — two of our dedicated team members — stepped in and offered to take her to a spay and neuter clinic with Peace Animals. After her surgery, she came to Mezcales shelter to recover… and she’s been with us ever since. We don’t know much about her past, but what we do know is this: she’s a happy, playful girl who gets along well with other dogs her size. She can be a little territorial at times, but with patience and guidance, she’s learning to share space and affection. She currently lives in an outdoor shelter, so she’ll need help with house training and adjusting to life inside a home. But her spirit is bright, her heart is open, and she’s ready to find a family who will truly see her and love her for the dog she’s becoming.
